Day 1 : Hanoi arrival (-/-/-)

Our tour guide will come to pick you up upon arrival. Then our car will take you to the city and check in at the hotel.

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2 : Hanoi city tour (B/L/D)

We will take you to some must-see places such as: Ho Chi Minh Complex with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleumhis former stilt-house residence, the Presidential PalaceHo Chi Minh museum and Chua Mot Cot (One Pillar pagoda).

We will also visit Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) – the first university of Vietnam, built in 1070, originally as worshiping Confucius. The temple highlights the importance of education to Vietnamese people from ancient times.

After having lunch, we will head back to the Hanoi old Quarter. We will visit Ngoc Son temple (Temple of The Jade Mountain) – located on Hoan Kiem Lake.

After visiting those famous places in Hanoi, you will have chance to see the Hanoi Old Quarter by “xích lô” (cyclo). Cyclo riders will take you go around to see this bustling and crowded area with narrow streets – where is home to thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers.

The last activity is enjoying the unique Water Puppet show.

For dinner, we will have one of the most famous specialty in Hanoi - Thang Long Grilled Fish.

Day 3 : Hanoi – Thung Nai (B/L)

From 7:30 am to 8:00 am, our tour guide will come to pick you up for the trip to Thung Nai.

Thung Nai belongs to Cao Phong district, Hoa Binh province and is known as “Halong on Da River”. It is far about 25 kilometers from Hoa Binh and 110 kilometers from Hanoi. The name “Thung Nai” no longer appears on the tourist map but it is becoming an exciting destination for those who want to explore the wilderness. Thung Nai has rustic and grandeur beauty, a sparkling scene in the middle of Da River.

We will arrive at around 11:00 am. Get off the car and take a short rest of several minutes before taking a motor-boat to the rest-house of Ngoc Island. After 20 minutes for motor-boating, you will reach the rest-house of Dua Island. Relax and help prepare for having lunch with local people (Muong ethnic traditional dishes).

You will have a chance to enjoy some specialties of Hoa Binh such as “Com lam” (sticky rice in bamboo), Can Wine (stem wine or tube wine) ...

After having lunch we will travel on motor-boat around the lake of Thung Nai, visit Thac Bo Temple and Thac Bo Cave. Watching the daily life of some ethnic minorities in Hoa Binh Province, drop in Thac Bo Market for shopping.

Late afternoon, around 4:30 pm we will come back to Thuong Luu wharf, transfer back to Hanoi.

You will be back in Hanoi by 7:30 pm.

Day 4 : Hanoi Cooking class – flight to Hue (B/L/D)

In the morning, our tour guide will pick you up, take you to the Cooking class centerHidden Hanoi – situated nearby Hanoi West Lake. Before the class, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, you will have a chance to join with the chef going to the market for shopping the ingredients.

You will learn to cook Vietnam’s most iconic dishes in such a tranquil garden in the middle of the bustling city. Their menus consist of some of the most popular and authentically Vietnamese dishes. All recipes are prepared using ingredients that can be found in most well stocked Asian grocery stores, so you can easily replicate them in your own kitchen. We hope that you can surprise your family and your friends with some Vietnamese traditional dishes when you go home.

The class ends at 2:00 pm, our driver will pick you up, go straight to the airport, ready for flight to Hue.

When you arrive Hue, our driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 5 : Hue city tour (B/L/D)

After having breakfast, our tour guide will come to pick you up at your hotel.

In the morning, we will visit 3 tombs of 3 Kings from Nguyen Dynasty: Minh Mang, Khai Dinh, Tu Duc.

Our first stop is the Minh Mang Tomb. This is the final resting place of the 2nd emperor of Vietnam. This tomb is special in the way its architecture blends in seamlessly with its surroundings and landscape (Minh Mang was a staunch believer in Confucianism).

The next one is Khai Dinh Tomb. Though difficult to access (the tomb itself is located 127 steps from street level), this elaborate tomb is well worth a visit due to its mix of architectural styles. Khai Dinh spent a lot of time in France which is reflected in some European influences on his tomb. The complex also features an imperial audience court featuring twelve stone “bodyguards”.

The last tomb we visit today is the one of Tu Duc. This tomb was built for the fourth emperor of Vietnam. Incomparable in size and luxury, the sprawling complex was also used as the Emperor’s second home.

After that, you will have chance to visit making incense village and have lunch at 1:00 pm.

After about 1 hour for having lunch, we will head back to the city and visit the Imperial City of Hue or as known as the Citadel.

Despite being heavily bombed in Vietnam War, the Citadel still stands impressive and is definitely one of the highlights of Hue. This attraction will just get better and better as the government has been restoring destructed buildings within the imperial city walls. The grounds are huge, and you can spend a fair few hours wandering through the gardens, lakes, ruins and buildings.

At 4:45 pm, we will go to visit Thien Mu pagoda – a historic temple in the city of Hue in Vietnam. Its pagoda has seven stories and is the tallest religious building in Vietnam. From here you can see the panorama of Hue city with Huong river flows along.

At the end of this trip today, you will have a boat trip along Huong river, from Thien Mu pagoda to go back to the city. We will drop you off at your hotel by 5:30 pm to freshen up and take a short rest before going out for dinner with our tour guide.

Day 6 : Hue – private car to Da Nang – Hoi An ancient town (B/L/D)

After having breakfast and check out at the hotel, we take a scenic drive private car on one of Vietnam’s most spectacular route – the Mandarin Route – National Route 1A today, to Hoi An passing the Hai Van Pass (Ocean Cloud Pass), a mountainous highway offering splendid views over the South China Sea and also stop at Lang Co beach to take some scenic photos.

On the way, we will make stopover to visit Marble MountainCham Museum and Linh Ung Pagoda.

You will arrive Hoi An, check in at the hotel, take a rest before discover the ancient town.

Our tour guide will take you walk around Hoi An Ancient Town – one of the World Culture Heritages of Vietnam. The influences of several Asian cultures can be seen in these antique houses and waterside buildings. It is also famous as a place to be instantly created inexpensive tailored outfits. You will visit the Sa Huynh Museum, located near the Japanese Covered Bridge, which contains exhibitions from the earliest period of Hoi An's history.

Day 7 : Hoi An cooking class & cycling tour - optional (B/L/D)

Today you will not join to a normal cooking class but a family cooking class named “My grandma’s home cooking”. You will be welcomed by a family and you will start to learn some traditional dishes. The voyage will begin by a boat ride to the village where the owner was raised, on a small island in the center of the river delta that borders Hoi An. You will meet the warm and friendly people that live in the Hoi An countryside. You will visit their gardens where they raise the aromatic plants and spices used in the daily preparation of the regional dishes. You will learn to use these indigenous plants during your cooking lesson.

This class begins at 8:00 am and finishes at 3:00 pm.

After the class, you can choose to join in a cycling tour from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm to discover the countryside and learn more about the farmers’ living here. If you feel a little bit tired or not interested in, we will go back to Hoi An town and take a rest.

From 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm, our tour guide will come to pick you up at your hotel for dinner. Hoi An is considered as “the kitchen of Vietnam”. We will book one of the nice restaurants in town for your special dinner.

Day 8 : Hoi An – My Son Sanctuary – Da Nang – flight to Ho Chi Minh city (B/L/D)

Today we will head to visit My Son SanctuaryMy Son Sanctuary was not only the Holy land of Champa Kingdom but also the most important constructions of the My Son civilization.

Then we will go back to Hoi An and have lunch. You might want to taste Banh Mi Phuong (Madame Phuong’s bread) – such a one of famous dishes in Hoi An. Then we will go to Da Nang airport – ready for flight to Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 9 : Cu Chi Tunnel – Ho Chi Minh city tour (B/L/D)

Cu Chi Tunnel, otherwise known as the “Iron Triangle” or “Iron Land” is around 70km far from Ho Chi Minh city. It takes us more than 1 hour driving through the peaceful countryside with rice paddy fields.

We will have a short time to enjoy the introductory video of how the tunnels constructed; and then explore the maze of the tunnels. We also see various mantraps and the remains of an US tank as well as various bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers.

In the afternoon, we will visit Chinatown and some famous Buddhist pagodas in city such as: Thien Hau, Quan Am.

After that, we will also visit Jade Emperor Pagoda – a Taoist pagoda, in honour of the supreme Taoist god – Jade Emperor or King of Heaven.

The War Remnants Museum is the next place we will visit or as known as "The House for Displaying War Crimes of American Imperialism and the Puppet Government”, focuses on exhibiting the relating to the American phase of the Vietnam War. Since then, it has undergone many changes and renovations due to the process of normalization of relation between Vietnam and the United States, such as the change to its current name in 1993.

Before we end the city tour, we will visit Ben Thanh market for doing shopping.

You will be back at the hotel by 6:00 pm and have a short time to freshen up before going out for dinner with us.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 10 : Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta My Tho & Ben Tre (B/L/D)

From 7:30 am to 7:45 am, our tour guide will come to pick you up for the Mekong Delta day trip. On the way, you will enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. 

On arrived at My Tho, we will take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, we will have lunch in the orchard garden.

After lunch, we will take a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals.

Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village.

In the late afternoon we will head back to Ho Chi Minh city and will arrive by 6:00 pm.

Our tour guide & driver will drop you off at the hotel for freshning up and relaxing before outing dinner.

Day 11 : Ho Chi Minh cooking class (B/L/-)

Today we will join in a cooking class in Saigon Cookery Center. You will have a chance to learn how to cook some traditional dishes of Vietnam and taste them after finish. If you are a big group, we can organize a team building. More than a workshop on cooking, it is a real culinary competition with full of challenge. It also allows improving the communication between every participant and the cohesion of the team. We guarantee this will be one of your unforgettable memories in Vietnam.

After having lunch, we will go back to the hotel, relax and freshen up. You can do some shopping as this is your last day of Vietnam trip.

Day 12 : Ho Chi Minh departure (B/-/-)

You will have a free morning to do shopping and pack your luggage.

At noon, you will check out at the hotel. Our tour guide will take you to the airport, ready for the departure flight.
