Night 1: Hanoi – night train to Lao Cai
From 07:30 pm to 08:00 pm, our tour guide will come and pick you up at your hotel to go to the Hanoi Railway Station.
You will take overnight train to Lao Cai.
Day 1: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B,L,D)
In the early morning, you will arrive Lao Cai station and our driver will pick you up to take you to the hotel.
You will have breakfast and freshen up yourself before go trekking to Lao Chai village. You will have a chance to see the daily life of Black H’Mong people. Then you will have lunch.
After lunch, you continue trekking to Ta Van village - walk through terraced fields and along Muong Hoa valley, you will see Ta Van village – home of Dzay people.
Then you will walk to the high road, our car will pick you up to go back Sapa Town.

Estimated time trekking: 3.5 hours
You will have a free evening to discover Sapa by yourself.

Day 2: Sapa - light trek to Ma Tra & Ta Phin Village (B,L,D)
Starting from hotel with your guide, you will follow a trail running through fruit and orchard gardens, lush pine forests to a Black Hmong ethnic minority village named Ma Tra, isolated away from the civilization. Chickens, water buffalos, pot - belly pigs and piggy everywhere, some locals will be happy to invite us to their home which offers chances to see their dwellings, weavings on belly looms to makes traditional costumes out of hemp fiber.
Our path weaves itself up and down hills, through valleys with terraced rice fields which create spectacular landscapes. After picnic lunch, we get to Ta Phin Commune where the Black H'mong and the Red Zao live together. It is very interesting to realize culture assimilation: Which can be mixed, which can not! At the end of the footpath, our car is waiting for us for the return journey to Sapa.
Afternoon is at your leisure for wandering Sapa town and market until late afternoon when transfer down hill to Lao Cai station for taking the overnight train back. Trip ends when arrives in Hanoi early next morning on Sunday morning at 6:00 am.
