Day 1: Hue arrival

Day 1 : Hue arrival

Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel in Hue. You will check in at the hotel and have a free evening for relax after a tiring flight.

Day 2 : Hue city tour (B, L)

From 8:00 am to 8:30 am, our tour guide will come to pick you up at your hotel. We will take you to 3 tombs of 3 Kings from Nguyen Dynasty: Tu Duc, Minh Mang, Khai Dinh.

After that, you will have chance to visit making inscense village and have lunch at 1:00 pm.

After about 1 hour for having lunch, we will head back to the city and visit the Imperial City of Hue or the Citadel. 

Despite being heavily bombed in Vietnam War, the Citadel still stands impressive and is definitely one of the highlights of Hue. This attraction will just get better and better as the government has been restoring destructed buildings within the imperial city walls. The grounds are huge, and you can spend a fair few hours wandering through the gardens, lakes, ruins and buildings.

At 4:45 pm, we will go to visit Thien Mu pagoda – a historic temple in the city of Hue in Vietnam. Its pagoda has seven stories and is the tallest religious building in Vietnam. From here you can see the panorama of Hue city with Huong river flows along.

At the end of this tour, you will have a boat trip along Huong river, from Thien Mu pagoda to go back to the city. We will drop you off at your hotel by 5:30 pm.

Day 3 : Hue – A Luoi – Hamburger Hill – A Roang village (B, L, D)

Depart at your hotel in Hue at 8:00 am for A Luoi about 70 km, along the way from Hue to A Luoi you can see natural beauty and tribe groups in mountainous area. You will be on car 2 hours to get Aluoi and start your trip by visiting Hamburger Hill or as known as 937 Hill – the famous hot spot between Vietnam and America War.

On arrival the foot of mountain you will strat to trek up hill with hundreds steps to the top and enjoy the panorama of the airport, combat base and green forest revival after the war. Then back to A Luoi town and have lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, the trip continue for exploring the daily life of Ta Oi ethnic people and their culture with handicraft villages of textile, weaving, dry rice growing. In A Roang you take relax at A Roang Hot Spring to relax.

Day 4 : A Luoi – DMZ – Hue (B, L)

Wake up early and experience the early morning for discover morning market to enjoy more the daily life of local people here. Have breakfast at restaurant.

You leave A Luoi along Highway No15 – the branch of Ho Chi Minh trail to reach Quang Tri, pass through Ashau valley and admire the green forest. Visit Dakrong Bridge before getting to Khe Sanh Combat Base and Ta Con airport – the airfield where displays things of the war and planes remains here before arriving Dong Ha town at noon. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

This afternoon you continue your  trip explore DMZ by pass through Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River, 17th Parallel and visit Museum, Vinh Moc tunnel – the network of tunnels that made hero in war where was the shelter for villager during bombings. You can see the efforts of villagers when digging tunnels with facilities of well, hospital, school, home…

After that the driver transfers you return Hue city.

Day 5 : Hue – flight to Da Nang – Hoi An (B)

After having breakfast and check out at the hotel, our driver will pick you up to go to the airport, ready for departure flight to Da Nang.

After about 1 hour, we arrive Da Nang. Driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to Hoi An ancient town.

You will have a free half day for relaxing or other personal activities.

Day 6 : Hoi An ancient town – My Son Sanctuary (B,L)

Today our tour guide will take you walk around Hoi An ancient – one of the World Culture Heritages of Vietnam. The influences of several Asian cultures can be seen in these antique houses and waterside buildings. It is also famous as a place to be instantly created inexpensive tailored outfits. You will visit the Sa Huynh Museum, located near the Japanese Covered Bridge, which contains exhibitions from the earliest period of Hoi An's history. 

We will have lunch at a local restaurant and then head to visit My Son Sanctuary. My Son Sanctuary was not only the Holyland of Champa Kingdom but also the most important constructions of the My Son civilization.

We will be back to Hoi An in the late afternoon. You will have a free evening to discover by yourself.

Day 7 : Hoi An – Da Nang – Da Nang departure (B)

You will have a free morning to do shopping and pack your luggage.

At noon, you will check out at the hotel. Our tour guide will take you to the airport in Da Nang, ready for the departure flight.
